With Apollo allowing me a free range of topics to learn about, I chose to do this project based on college research and the interests connections with the universities. After an adequate quantity of research, Penn State University, Temple University, and Virginia Tech would be my three decisions.
English
Writing a college research paper was my only option for the English portion because, by Pennsylvania law, students in English three are required to write a college research paper, a high school resume, and a Common App essay. I chose to write a college research paper based on my research from Penn State University, Temple University, and Virginia Tech. Unlike my other projects this year, I didn't need to meet with the teacher at first since it was more research-based and common-sense. My essay was in three college categories, and each would have a paragraph that would go into detail about the college, the psychology major, tuition cost, and location of the campus. A neat fact about Temple University is that Temple University is distinguished for its T, which was designed by students in graphic arts and design class, ranks the #3 top public universities in Pennsylvania located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with an average acceptance rate of 57% (“Explore Temple University”). A fact about Penn State is that it has 23 more diminutive campuses and one online campus. Fifty-seven percent of students say varsity sports are an enormous part of their campus life here at Penn State. Eighty-four percent of students even feel confident they will obtain a job in their field after graduation (“Explore Penn State”). Virginia Tech, also known as “the Hokies,” and “the gobblers,” is a large college campus known for its enrollment of 26,603 undergraduate students. About 63% of students at Virginia Tech say that Greek life is average, and no will treat you differently if you don’t join. Seventy percent of students attending Virginia Tech say that varsity sports are a big part of campus life.
The process of writing a college research paper took longer than I thought it would. Let me rephrase that, the research took an entire week, including a few hours. Formulating the research paper took approximately three days to draft, and three days to finalize with corrections. Though the process was extremely long and tiring, I finished my nine-page composition with all my fingers unimpaired.
The research was accommodating from the websites, and it made it easier to format my college research paper. The essay opened my eyes to my college decision, and I finally concluded that the Temple of University would be my number one decision because of the tuition payment.

Social Studies
Along with writing a college research paper, I wrote an essay about why a "gap" year is valuable and why I would contemplate doing one. Before researching the term gap year, I had no inkling what it was because my parents never gave me that option. They told me to either earn an education at a university or join the military. I researched what a gap year which is a duration of time where students travel, have jobs, have internships, and more to explore themselves and who they are. I think a gap year would enable me to explore myself and what I aspire to do for my future profession choice. For instance, my parents fancy me to become a psychiatrist, and that implies me going through higher educational learning, plus internships. I thought about arranging an internship at a psychiatric hospital to understand the perspective of those workers. Even though a gap year sounds terrific, I think advancing to a four-year prestigious college is the perfect alternative for me.
The process the essay took was a method that is allowing to develop my composition abilities and my writing skills in general. I learned that a "gap" year is another alternative to college and the military and that a lot of students are taking advantage of this opportunity to learn about themselves. Like I said previously, the analysis about the gap year was significant, but the research on how to format an essay about a particular topic allowed me to write an exposition at my grade level.

ART
The art portion of my project didn't involve a lot of writing, but singing alternatively. I researched different alma maters from separate universities and high schools like Penn State, University of Maryland, University of Delaware, Virginia Tech, Temple University, and Central York High School. I listened to remarkable recordings of the alma maters, and my preference was the University of Maryland. I got my inspiration for my alma mater from Virginia Tech because I loved the structure of it. I used excellent information from the colleges to encourage my alma mater. Once the finalization of the alma mater was done, I used GarageBand for my alma mater. I used four-voice harmonies and "attempted" to play the piano to have a tempo.
I was going to utilize drums for the alma mater because the alma maters l listened to had drums, trumpets, and additional musical instruments. The voice parts were all composed by me, except one segment of the "soprano" section for the chorus. The piano playing was presumably the pleasantest part of the alma mater, the rest was a jumble, in my opinion. If I had extra time, I think it would have played wonderfully and beautifully, but it sounds modest at best.

Reasoning
The word reasoning is a statement presented in justification or explanation of a belief or action. People search and take information, compare it to what they may already know, and then come up with their reasoning or conclusion about the situation. The reasoning skills are simple at first, but sometimes requires a lot of critical thinking through research and self reflect. I did this project because I want to get ready for college and research different colleges that I think would accommodate my criteria. I had to use the thinking skill because my academics are the outcome of if I reach a prestigious university or not. I used reasoning for the English portion by writing my college research paper about the three colleges I would like to attend and why. For the history portion, I wrote an essay about why a "gap" year is valuable and the reasons why I would consider it. The art section was all about why my university alma mater was shaping and how I would want my students to feel at my university. I want my college experience to be fulling and exciting to invigorate me to reach my absolute potential. I want to be able to provide for my future family by earn a Master's degree in psychology and hopefully complete the other requirements to become a psychiatrist. I know this project gave me an incredible insight into my expectations and how valuable my academic education is.
